Family stories chronicled by Marlene

Thomas Frank McCluskey 1918 Owaneco, Illinois

Marlene, November 10, 2025November 10, 2025

I found this picture online and purchased it. Shows a few young men who signed up for the War just before it ended. They were sent to Army Camps and then were discharged.
T. Frank, as he was called, (6th from left standing) 18 years old, worked on a farm in Illinois then moved to Arizona and married Alverta Goodwin in 1926. They moved to California with son William and daughter Marcia. He worked in Yosemite in 1930 and later for Borden’s in Los Angeles.
